I know what it’s like to sit with a beer anxious about the future and scared to go outside. Hesitant to go to bed as you’re not sure whether your more scared of falling asleep tonight or waking up tomorrow. It’s not so much the knowledge that the beer won’t save me that keeps me going as the fact that I know that exercise will save me.
The Charity Sport In Mind helps improve Mental Health by facilitating many forms of exercise for people across the south of England. This January I will be supporting them by completing some form of exercise every day in the month. My Christmas Belly is slumped on top of my Lockdown Belly and it really is time to get moving if I want to be trekking in the Himalayas in April.
